Beer Bear Bored. . .

So when I click on the bookmark for my blog in my web browser and I'm required to sign in again, it means I have not been visiting/writing much on my own blog. Thus, just to keep myself logged in to my blog, here's 2 things:

First, I FINALLY brought my camera home after LONG LONG LONG time. All this while it has been sitting in my lab because it's cold and dry there, and I spend more time in my lab than in my own room(sad huh?). But anyway, why would "bringing my camera home after a decade" be interesting at all? Because. . . . now I can show you a something in my room that I've always been meaning to snap:

My iPhone holder graduation bear! Haha! Okay, it's not really an iPhone holder. Got this bear from my friend for my graduation(Thanks!) and it has been sitting on my bed doing nothing for a while. After a few weeks of having tea with this bear and talking to him about what he can do for me in my room, I've finally figured out how to put him into good use! I'm just kidding, I don't talk to him LOL. But yea! I figured that I can rest my iPhone on him as shown, while I watch a video/movie lying down on my bed! Gone were the days where I had to hold my phone to watch a video in bed and having the phone smack right on my face when I doze off!! Of course I don't usually watch a whole two-hour movie in bed, just short drama series like How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory or even South Park!

On to the next thing. Last Saturday was the SPMS Alumni Club's Opening, and being an SPMS alumni, we were invited to O'Leary's Sports Bar and Grill for dinner(?). Basically it was an event where food were served, guests come and go, a lucky draw, and oh, to me, the more attractive part of the night was the free flow of beer. Just normal beers though. Regardless, I went mainly because I had nothing better to do, and I thought I'd drink a few beers on a Saturday night.
The thing with this event is, I don't really need it. I mean, I work in NTU as a research staff now, and so do my friends from Physics. Hence, I see my professors and friends from Physics almost all the time! If there's one event I need from the Alumi Club, is to get me the heck away from them! Haha, I kid.
So yup, there weren't anything much to talk about that night. Things were pretty boring. We just went for the dinner, had a few drinks and head home. Honestly, not to sound nerdy, I thought I was better off in front of my computer that night. Well, at least there were free food and drinks? That's like the most desperate of consolation I can find.
