Mid Awesome Festival. . .

So, there are a shitloads of things in my mind recently, I guess I'm currently paying the price for the decisions that I've made previously? And it is the point of time when I start to doubt my own decision, was I too hasty in deciding last time? Or it's just me being sour for not being able to try the other options? Heck, I'm even starting to feel like I'm being punished for being happy for quite an "overly-extended" period. You see, it was the first time in a very very long while since things in my life have been running quite smoothly for some time. In fact, there were times when I pause n question myself, "Why is everything going so well? Is something bad gonna happen soon?". And true enough, things never last.

The past few weeks, though masked by a few shreds of eventful happenings, were not really that happening. My research, for instance, is one thing that I'm so lost at. Others, well, let's keep them for some other time. This is not the reason for this post. Enough with being strayed, the real purpose of this post is, aside from trying to keep this blog alive, is to share some of the happier things that happened.

Ta-da!! Finally, the movie by Kakilang Production has been successfully uploaded to Youtube! Or you can just watch it here. This is the lower quality version of it. The HD version, was split into 3 parts and they're only available on Facebook, so I can't(or I don't know how to) embed it here. Regardless, if you prefer to watch the HD one, the links are here, here, and here(in that order). As for what did I do, I helped shoot a few short short scenes while our main videographer was not around, and I helped choreograph some of the scenes. Interesting trivia of the day, can you spot me in the video? Yes, I'm not bullshitting you, I'm one hard bastard to spot in the video(one of the many many scenes).

Also, Monday was Mid Autumn Festival. Well, I'm no big fan of these traditional festivals, but they do give me a chance to get together with some of my closest friends here for a meal whilst updating each other on all the craps that has been happening under the Sun. Hence, on Sunday and Monday, I had dinner with two separate group of friends, and for both groups, I bought some ice cream mooncakes by Swensen's to share with them.

Sunday night, we had dinner at Thai Express, Jurong Point, and as you can see, the photos above has no watermark by me. The photos that night were credited to Kok Xian, the guy on the rightmost. As I did not bring my camera that day, I have to resort to borrowing some photos from him. Speaking of Kok Xian, notice his photos up there? I'll show you guys something interesting at the end of the post =P

As for Monday night, I had dinner with Su Yun and gang. Unfortunately, I did not manage to take photos of anyone present, because we only had a simple dinner in the crowded Pioneer food court. Nonetheless, there are still some photos of the mooncakes.
Personal favourite? Durian ice cream mooncake!! Weird thing is, I'm not a huge fan of durian, but the ice cream filling of the mooncake, was really good!! Tastes like real durian!
And oh, according to Su Yun, we have to eat pamelo during Mid Autumn Festival too. I didn't know about that. Courtesy of Carmen's "claws", the pamelo was nicely peeled.

That's pretty much it for my Mid Autumn Festival. I enjoyed it quite a bit, I always enjoy spending time with these bunch of friends. At the very least, my worries/problems will be forgotten during that short period of time. However, when I'm back home alone, there they come again =(

And now, I'm late for my lunch with Trish! So, here's the photo that I promised, and adios!
Kok Xian doing meme face!! How alike are they? You decide.
