The bro's before ho's bullshit. . .

It's been a while, though the lack of update of my blog is unforgivable, at the same time, it is inevitable too. The past week has been quite packed, I had to leave work at 1730 or 1800 on the dot for some other activities. On normal days, I would stay in the lab until at least about 2000, just because:

1. I have nothing better to do at home. There's no internet at home and the cellphone network reception is so bad that it renders the idea of getting a mobile broadband moot.

2. Who wants to travel during peak hours? The NTU-Pioneer shuttle buses are always packed and full during peak hours, resulting in long waits for subsequent buses(which will probably be full too).

Nonetheless, for the past week, I have better things to do outside after office hours, and I was forced to take part in the "daily push and shove event". Mostly, I had to meet up with some friends who came back from travelling, namely US and China. Aside from that,

I took part, no no, taking part is not exactly the right word, more like, I went to take a look at the Malaysian Freshmen Orientation Camp. I didn't exactly take photos there, this was just one of the very few shots I took when I had my camera with me that time. Thought the photo turned out not bad, hence I played a bit with some effects.
Organised our first group graduation photoshoot around NTU, but failed due to the rain. Regardless, we still did our best and took some indoor shots. Improvision FTW!!
Did our second group convocation shots around NTU, this time, outdoors.
Thankfully for the weather, we were quite happy with the photos we took. And millions of thanks to our photographer, Leong Chong Yen.

Aside from that, I was a very very angry person yesterday. I'm starting to feel that the phrase "bro's before ho's" is nothing but a myth. I used to have so much faith in 2 of my closest buddies that I've known for 10 years, until yesterday when 1 of them decides to forsake me because of a few girls. It was really the most disappointing event in my life, to hear your close buddy for 10 years say "I am choosing the girls over you". I was like, "what the fuck?". Throughout the whole of our friendship the 3 of us know that we can tolerate any amount of swear words in our conversations, any kind of jokes we throw at each other and every pranks we play on each other, but this is the one thing that the 3 of us understand that it's quite intolerable. No, I don't mean that "neither one of us can get a girlfriend", but getting a girlfriend doesn't mean you have to abandon/forsake your closest friends. And this has been the one thing that made us so close to each other, we never throw anyone aside when either one of us has a girlfriend.

Nonetheless, I was proven wrong yesterday. The worst part is, the girls that I was abandoned for, was partly introduced to him by me and another friend. To think that I am now the outsider that was cast away by you, to hell with that dude. And last but not least, you're not even interested in those girls that you forsake me for, dog!!
